"Give me health and a day," wrote the poet-philosopher Emerson. Conventional wisdom believes that health is a treasure, the most precious, and instinctively we all seek to be and stay healthy (albeit not always translate into the proper way to look it up). But what is health? Why is it so important?, Well, we start with the classical definitions, considering the offers we described by the World Health Organization, in the sense that this is a welfare state on the physical, mental and social, that is not merely the absence of disease in the conventional sense of the word.
